Natural stone wall capping is a unique masonry finish, designed to provide a protective top surface for any type of wall-like structure. Wall capping is typically installed to slightly overhang the wall to provide a drip edge for water to flow off the top surface. This prevents moisture from permeating into and potentially damaging the wall structure itself. Wall cap pieces, such as our Ocean Pearl Cut Top Wall Cap also provide an attractive finishing accent for indoor or outdoor walls. Our Ocean Pearl Cut Top Wall Cap has a cut top, bottom and flamed sides (flaming is a masonry process that super-heats a cut stone face to produce a natural textured look). This organically beautiful wall capping is blue/grey slate, punctuated with occasional white quartz veins. It's available in widths up to 24", with each piece a minimum of 2" thick and flamed on all four sides. K2 Stone capping can also be tailored to fit your specific application requirements.
On outdoor elevations, low walls can effectively define a principle entrance – on their own or in conjunction with a porch, veranda or some other kind of overhang to protect the front door.
